Adrianna Portillo is a San Francisco based materials-focused designer and founder working at the intersection of fashion, biotechnology, and advanced fabrication.
Her work explores how living systems, mathematical structures, and emerging materials can reshape the future of of clothing.
With a background spanning molecular gastronomy, experimental design, and additive manufacturing; Adrianna approaches fashion the way engineers approach architecture-treating garments as systems built from structure, biology, and data.
Orzia Zero Inc. is currently building collaborations across biotechnology labs, advanced manufacturing, and fashion to develop the next generation of materials systems.
She is a New Yorker with Catalonian roots, descendant of German Holocaust Survivors, Portillo is deeply influenced by her family's legacy of invention and perseverance- from the cochlear implant to military vehicle engineering-informs her life long fascination with how machines and human's co-create beauty.

Before launching Orzia Zero, Adrianna led high-profile events, curated artist experiences, and worked with designers, chefs, and musicians across San Francisco, Berlin, Bangkok, Tel Aviv, NYC, Panama City, and Detroit.
